Booking Timeline: May-October To reserve a date in advance during peak season (May-October) we require a minimum order of $800 (this is a minimum for our total services including desserts, delivery, display rentals, consultations, etc.) For smaller events, we open our books 4-6 weeks in advance. Short-notice Cakes: Each week, we make one 4" cake available first-come, first-served. These cannot be reserved. Otherwise, we do not regularly have full cakes available in our store. Most cake orders require a week's notice, but you are always welcome to fill out an inquiry form and we will do our best to accommodate if able. Choosing a flavor: All our cakes are comprised of layers of cake, icing (buttercream or ganache), and optional syrup soaks and fillings. We have flavor suggestions listed on our menu page, or you can build your own combination of those components. Cake handling: Cakes should be kept refrigerated up until an hour or two before serving, and enjoyed at room temperature. Cakes should never be left in direct sunlight or in temperatures above 70 degrees Fahrenheit. Cake Style Limitations: We only work with natural plant- and mineral-based food colors. Because of this, some colors can be difficult to achieve. While we do our best to match color requests, we do not accept returns on the basis of expected color palette. Our cakes are all finished with buttercream or ganache-- we do not create designs with fondant or gumpaste. Gender reveal cakes: While we are happy to accommodate color palette requests, as a company policy, we do make gender reveal cakes. |
